Titles earned by breeds in the Herding Group and 7 breeds from other Groups.

The number of Herding Titles earned in 2008 was 1,928 compared to 1,923 in 2007.

The number of dogs competing in Herding Trials was 9,688 compared to 9,404 in 2007 for an increase of 284. The number of dogs competing in Herding Tests was 2,410 in 2008 compared to 2,629 in 2007 for a decrease of 219.

The number of Herding Trials in 2008 was 411 which was up by 42 trials from the previous year. The number of Herding Tests was 270 which was up 20 from the previous year.
HERDING TESTED: Border Collies constituted approximately 28% of the Tested titles.
HERDING TRIAL: Border Collies constituted 42% of the Trial titles and 57% of the total HX titles.
