SUMMARY:

Titles earned by breeds in the Herding Group and 5 breeds from the Working Group.

The number of Herding Titles earned in 2007 was 1,923 compared to 1,828 in 2006.

The number of dogs competing in Herding Trials was 9,403 compared to 8,711 in 2006 for an increase of 692. The number of dogs competing in Herding Tests was 2,628 in 2007 compared to 2,398 in 2006 for an increase of 230.

The number of Herding Trials in 2007 was 369 which was down by 19 trials from the previous year. The number of Herding Tests was 250 which was up one from the previous year.
HERDING TESTED:
Border Collies constituted approximately 13% of the Tested titles.
PT – 478 - 77 = 16%
HT - 346 - 31 = 9%
HERDING TRIAL:
Border Collies constituted 51% of the Trial titles and 62% of the total HX
titles.
