2006 AKC HERDING STATS |

The number of trials in 2006 was 388 which was up by 41 trials from the previous year. The number of total titles for all herding breeds earned in 2006 was 1,825 again up from 2005 by 27. Below the first number is the total for all herding breeds and the second is the number earned by Border Collies.
HERDING TESTED: Border Collies
constituted approximately 16% of the Tested titles.

HT - 339 - 36 - 10%
HERDING TRIAL: Border Collies constituted 44% of the Trial titles, 56% of the HX titles and 80% of the HXB titles.
