JUDGE CAROL MOUNT

Return to Judge Central

Always ready to work a challenge, AKC Agility Judge Carol Mount has trained and shown multiple “difficult” dogs to many titles. She and her husband are proud that all of the dogs they've owned to date have earned titles in performance or companion sports. They currently are home for a Border Collie, two Chinese Cresteds, two Malinois and a Basenji puppy. Carol has titled her dogs in sports like agility, flyball and obedience. This includes MACH Sega, Malinois, and MACH2 Louie-Louie ONYX, Crested. Carol's current agility partners are Louie and her young Malinois, Fusion. The Border Collie is having a blast learning to herd. In addition to training and judging, Carol instructs agility for her agility club, JAG. She has written several articles for canine magazines and newsletters including Clean Run and The Basenji Bulletin. Carol has been nominated twice for Dog Writers Of America awards and won DWAA's Maxwell Award in 1998. Carol has a MS in Mathematical Sciences and works for AT&T.
