I
have lived in the Twin Cities in Minnesota all my life. I have owned German
Shepherd Dogs since 1968. In 1984, I started taking Obedience classes and in
1986 got my first “show” dog.
In German Shepherds, I have had and bred several Am. & Can. Champions; as well as group & specialty winners, an ROM, Futurity and Maturity winners, and many with advanced obedience titles. My “Hogan”, besides being a multiple group winner, was a UDT and High Scoring Champion of Record at the 1997 GSDCA National.
I added Border Collies to my family in 1999 and have continued to show in Breed and all the performance venues. Besides doing herding and agility, in 2006, my Champion BC Twist and I earned our OTCH for my first Dual Championship. I have also breed several Border Collie litters, resulting in several breed Champions who are also excelling in Agility, Obedience and Herding.
I have been an AKC conformation judge since 2002 and Chair of the JE committee for the BCSA since January 2006.
