I live in Santa Barbara, California with my husband and 12 year old
daughter. I have trained, shown, and trialed my Border Collies in
conformation, herding, agility, and a bit of obedience and especially love
doing performance events with my three dogs - Puck, Beckham, and Miss
Piggy. I am particularly interested in pedigrees and health issues and I
hope someday to be both a herding and a conformation judge. I recently
bred my first litter under the affix Cordillera Border Collies. I am the
President of the Border Collie Club of Greater Los Angeles and Chair the
Border Collie Society of America Judge Selection Committee. I also train,
raise, and evaluate canine candidates for the National Disaster Search Dog
Foundation. I work to support my dog habit as a geologist and the Director
of Environmental Affairs for an aerospace manufacturing company. I am
delighted to have the opportunity to judge the conformation of a fine
group of accomplished Border Collies in the Performance Match at the 2008
BCSA National Specialty. |
