Welcome to the 2008 Border Collie
Nationals. As you have probably figured, we are going to have another overflow
with RV parking.
We are very unhappy to inform you
that Myra and Trent Westphal will not be handling the RV parking this year. It
was so incredibly well organized last year that we are going to miss them very,
very much.
Nor have we had any volunteers to
step in and take over. Therefore, the Reserved Parking is just not going to
happen.
Nevertheless, there are some
rules that will be strictly enforced:
1. NO camping on the Upper Deck.
Only campers that have been approved
by Purina farms may camp on the upper deck. The reason for this is because
Purina has hay rides that use that upper deck and don't want motor homes parked
there.
2. Please plan appropriately for
your X-Pens. NO Additional space will be allowed to any camper.
3. With safety in mind, there
will be NO parking on the grooming deck. Exhibitors will be allowed 15
minutes to unload but we ask that everyone be courteous to one another and move
along as quickly as possible. Also please power down at much as possible during
the day when the Grooming tent is being used.
4. The only camping available for
overflow or late arrivals will be on the gravel parking lot (Camping Overflow)
North of the Conformation and Obedience rings. There is no electric, or water
available. Or they may go to one of the local campgrounds to camp.
5. There will be absolutely NO
DUMPING of gray or black water. Violators will be subject to disciplinary
action.
6. Septic Pumping is $40.00 for
each time pumped. It will be on Wednesday and Saturday. All payments must
reach us the day before the pumping is scheduled. Payment for pumping is CASH
only. No checks or credit cards accepted. After you have paid you will be given
further instruction on what to do to ensure your RV is pumped.
7. At the present time Nancie
Mages will be the "go to" person for RV parking and RV dumping. If you are smart
(like a border collie) you will not phone her after 8:30 at night, or before 6am
in the morning. Cell phone 630 222 7800. |
